Simplicity is so beautiful. I love this brown and white wedding cake. The stripes, sweet bow and flower topper really make it stand out. Cake by K. Rose and Photography by Elizabeth Messina.

Elle Jae Weddings - San Francisco Wedding Photography
Photography by Lisa + James is now Elle Jae Weddings!! Along with a new name they have a beautiful new website. James and I go semi way back. After all he shot my wedding at the Calistoga Ranch back when he was James Sanders Photography. When I met his wife I instantly loved her. In a way we are almost like sisters or even twins although odd since we are both named Lisa. Well as people they are the best. As photographers I will let their work speak for itself. Amazing in my opinion. And because they are great people they are such a joy to work with. If you are a bride or groom here in the San Francisco Bay Area or beyond set up an appointment to meet with them…you will not be disappointed. Congrats you guys! Can’t wait to see you all the time in our new office!!
Centerpiece of the Week - Yellow and White Wedding Flowers
Yellow and White as a color combination has always been one of my favorites…clean, crisp and makes you want to smile. As my girl Karen would say, always display vases in odd numbers…3’s, 5’s etc. Well Huckleberry Karen Designs created this wedding centerpiece and it is beautiful. Photo by Elle Jae Weddings. P.S. Both are my new office mates…yay!!
Cool Things Wednesdays 75 - Unique Wedding Ideas & Decor
I love this Wishing Wall from Uncommon Goods. What a cute way to have wedding guests write the bride and groom words of love, encouragement and congratulations.
I am absolutely in love with this periwinkle colored wedding dress. Very unique and chic.
Wedding Reception Photo of the Month - Blue and White Wedding
The color combination of blue and white is so crisp and refreshing. The addition of the lanterns just put it over the top. Truly a spectacular blue and white wedding. Photo by Laura Novak.
Cool Things Wednesdays 74 - Unique Wedding Ideas & Decor
Well this CTW is all about burlap. I love mixing rustic, earthy elements with chic, simple and sophisticated elements. Burlap is a great way to add texture to your wedding decor. Plus it is a fairly inexpensive fabric. I love these wine bottle bags. Would be such a cute favor.

This burlap banner would look great at a wedding.
I also love the use of burlap as part of your wedding table decor. This table runner can be customized for both size and letter personalization. A simple and inexpensive way to spruce up standard linens without having to pay the upgraded linen costs.
